Dentistry is an interesting profession, in that it allows me to combine science along with the use of my hands to very meticulously solve and fix problems. It involves artistry and a keen sense for detail to provide the highest level of excellence for my patients. That is what makes it so interesting and exciting for me! The end result is to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives by improving their smile, oral health, and, in turn, their overall health.

Being in the dental profession offers the great opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds and diversities. Getting to know my patients on a personal level and customizing the dentistry I provide them to fit their individual needs, is what makes what I do so unique and fulfilling. The relationships I form with my patients create not just a professional bond, but lasting friendships.

Education

Continuing Education

As required by the state of Wisconsin, I am steadily involved in participating in continuing education. This enables me to maintain my knowledge and skills with regard to the latest techniques and procedures and provide the greatest level of care for my patients. I have also received advanced certification in Invisalign® and specialized training in the treatment of TMJ problems from the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Outside the Office

I grew up in Shenandoah, Iowa, which is a small farming community in the southwest corner of the state. After my four years in the Army, I moved to Green Bay in 1995 where I currently reside with my wife, stepdaughter, and our horse named Radar. In my free time I enjoy landscaping, golf, scuba diving, skiing, and boating.
